Position Summary:
This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that require advanced proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools. The position will work closely with business stakeholders to translate business needs into effective BI solutions. The position will also work to ensure data accuracy and consistency across the business.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Work with data architects and engineers to design and optimize data models for analytical solutions.
- Where able (or work with data architects to) develop, implement, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure efficient data flow and integrity.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical needs.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across various data and BI platforms.
- Maintain and enhance existing BI reports and dashboards to improve business insights.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BI solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Stay up to date with the latest BI trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Document BI processes, data models, and reporting structures to support future growth and maintenance.
Requirements / Qualifications
- 5 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining successful BI solutions
- Mastery of data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI & SSRS)
- Deep knowledge of SQL and data manipulation techniques
- Understanding of data architecture principles
- Familiarity with programming languages like DAX
- Ability to translate business needs into effective BI solutions
- Strong analytical skills to identify data insights and trends
- Understanding of key business metrics and KPIs
- Excellent communication skills to present findings to stakeholders at various levels
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
