Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients, particularly in General dentistry. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Manage patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Monitor vital signs and assist with patient assessments.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk as needed.
- Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, particularly in general dentistry setting.
- Familiarity with dental management software.
- Knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry is essential for effective patient care.
- Experience in managing medical records and understanding vital signs is beneficial.
- A background in assisting in Implants procedures is a plus.
