Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. The Dentist will perform a variety of procedures, including routine check-ups, preventive care, and complex treatments, while maintaining accurate medical records and utilizing advanced dental technologies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
- Perform a range of dental procedures including but not limited to:
- Four handed dentistry - Pediatric dentistry - Endodontics and root canal therapy - Dental extractions and oral surgery * Utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose conditions effectively.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education.Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid dental license to practice in the state.
- Experience or familiarity with Dentrix software is preferred.
- Strong understanding of pediatric dentistry principles is a plus.
- Proficient in performing endodontic procedures, including root canal therapy.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
