Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at Langley Federal Credit Union. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote business growth through loan origination and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate and manage commercial loans over $500,000
- Develop and implement individualized strategies for each business member to deepen and enhance current loan relationships and generate new loans
- Collaborate closely with internal partners to deepen existing relationships and acquire new high-value prospective relationships
- Attend community and industry forums, conferences, and meetings to broaden relationship networks and referral sources
- Assist in the training of less experienced Commercial Loan Officers
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of experience originating commercial loans required
- A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required. An equivalent combination of work experience and training is acceptable
- Previous experience in cross-selling financial products is required
- Previous experience in underwriting commercial loans preferred
