The Project Manager will be responsible for supervising the successful implementation of construction projects related to low-voltage systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Alarms, and Audio-Visual systems. Responsibilities:- Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders. Coordinated with general contractors and subcontractors to ensure alignment of project milestones and deadlines.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Supervise field teams and subcontractors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and according to specifications.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that low-voltage systems meet industry standards and client expectations. Conduct regular inspections and reviews of workmanship to identify and address any issues or deficiencies.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints. Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project finances.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and obstacles that may impact project delivery and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues as they arise to minimize disruptions and delays.
- Communication and Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and facilitating effective communication channels. Foster positive working relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to promote collaboration and teamwork.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards governing construction projects. Implement safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Documenting and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts permits, drawings, and change orders. Generate comprehensive reports on project progress, budget status, and key performance indicators for stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred) or a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in project management within the construction industry, particularly with low-voltage equipment.
- Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, including CCTV, access control, alarms, and audio-visual systems.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing project challenges.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Must be able to pass a background and driver’s license (MVR) check.
- Must have a valid and clear Arizona Driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a drug test according to company policy and laws and regulations.
- Must obtain and keep current Arizona Alarm Agent License and any required Licenses required by law.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- Professional in appearance and presentation, abide by all Personal Protective Equipment requirements and the Company’s Uniform Policy.
- Ability to work overtime without advance notice and must be able to work a flexible schedule.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Maintain company property in good working order, ensuring its safety and security.
Working Conditions:
- The role primarily operates in construction site environments, with regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions and potential hazards.
- Travel to multiple project sites may be required, depending on project locations and scope.
- Flexible hours may be necessary to accommodate project deadlines and client needs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
- Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
- Frequent lifting and/or carrying up to 65 pounds and pushing up to 100 pounds.
- Will be exposed to inclement weather or be required to work in environments or under conditions that require the use of protective equipment and devices and/or awareness of personal safety and the safety of others.
- Must be able to maintain visual acuity and alertness for long periods of time including long periods of driving a motor vehicle.
- Provide your own basic hand tools per the Company standards.
