Job Title: Technology Coordinator
Location: Langston University (All Campuses and Sites)
Job Summary: Provide support for all classroom technology, academic software, and digital learning tools across the university. Tiris role ensures that faculty, staff, and students have seamless access to instructional technology resources, including audiovisual (AV) systems, learning management systems (LMS), academic software, university software and other academic tools. The coordinator will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, evolving and optimizing university-wide technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences across all campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain classroom AV equipment (projectors, microphones, smartboards, video conferencing systems, etc.).
Provide real-time troubleshooting for classroom technology issues to ensure minimal disruption to instruction.
Assist faculty and staff with technology setup for lectures, presentations, and events.
Conduct regular classroom technology inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Provide technical support for the university's Learning Management System (LMS).
Assist faculty and students with LMS-related issues, including course setup, troubleshooting, and integrations.
Support university software applications used by Faculty, Staff and students.
Assist with user training, workshops, and documentation for faculty, staff, and students on university technology best practices.
Serve as a technology resource for faculty, staff and students providing guidance on effective use of digital learning tools.
Work with IT and instructional design teams to implement new technology solutions.
Assist with university initiatives and projects that align with the Technology Coordinators skillset, offering support to faculty, staff, and students across all campuses.
Executes additional responsibilities and tasks as required to support departmental goals and organizational needs.

Proven experience in application technology support
Strong technical skills in hardware, software, and systems troubleshooting
Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage complex IT environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or 10 years of equivalent experience in development or related IT roles.
