About the Position
We are seeking a Part-time CCC-SLP for a Brooklyn-based children’s rehabilitation center specializing in subacute care for children with injuries and conditions impacting their ability to thrive. This is an opportunity to join a progressive team that prioritizes collaboration, growth, and excellent patient outcomes.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Education & Credentials:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Current state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
- Required Experience:
- Expertise in pediatric dysphagia assessment and treatment.
- Preferred Experience:
- Working with tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent children.
- Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems.
- Key Skills:
- Passion for providing patient-centered care to help children achieve their fullest potential.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including PTs, OTs, RTs, nurses, and physicians.
- Excellent communication skills to educate families and engage with caregivers.
