Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 70 different languages in hundreds of towns and cities across the world. Students are either in-company or self-funded who need to learn a language at their office or their home for work, family or travel reasons. - One of our clients would like to have one-to-one ONLINE General Icelandic classes.
- This client wishes to have classes online, and he would like to do a free 30 minutes trial class first. His availability to do the trial is:
(1) Monday - 09:00 - 09:59 AM
(2) Tuesday - 09:00 - 09:59 AM
(3) Thursday - 09:00 - 09:59 AM , all Ontario, Canada time. Please let me know which option is best for you, bearing in mind the time difference (you can check it here). - The student's current level of Icelandic is Beginner.
- The student is between 56–64 years old.
- After the taster class, the student is willing to have lessons at 9 am any weekday (Mon-Fri). He could also accept weekends, but would prefer during the week.
Special Request: He finds Icelandic very hard to learn, so he asked a very patient teacher who can commit 3 days a week minimum possible, 4 or 5 if it makes more sense, he’ll start with 10 hours to see if he can even grasp the language then he’d like to expand to more courses. Compensation would be USD 15 per hour
Please note that we would give full training on the use of the software, but you should:
- be comfortable teaching online
- have a headset
- have a webcam - THIS IS ESSENTIAL
- have your own computer at home and a fast broadband connection
Ideal teacher should:
- Be a native speaker of the language OR hold a teaching degree
- Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
