Qualifications

Must have 48 hours of college or passing scores from the ACT Workkeys test (test given at WIN Center)

Experience in and demonstrated aptitude for working with young people

Good technical, organizational, and public relations skills

Job Goal

To provide a well-organized, smoothly functioning classroom in which students can take full advantage of the electronically delivered instructional program.

Essential Functions

• Supervises students in the distance learning classroom; completes and verifies enrollment forms, maintains attendance records, and submits changes of schedules and other necessary information as appropriate.
• Prepares classroom prior to each class; operates and cares for equipment as instructed.
• Motivates and monitors students and their progress; collects assignments; supervises independent work, enrichment work, and assigned remedial work.
• Administers and supervises testing as assigned by the teacher and arranges for make-up tests; keeps accurate records of student grades.
• Serves as liaison between students and video teacher and alerts teacher to any special information, problems, or concerns of students.
• Participates in relevant inservice training.
• Completes facilitator information form and surveys or questionnaires as instructed.
• Performs other related duties as requested or assigned.

Evaluation

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
