SUMMARY
Banquet Set-Up Attendants at Lanier Islands are motivated and energetic individuals who provide superior guest service at weddings, meal functions and other large events. In their role, they assist the Banquet Manager in setting up rooms according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and fulfilling guest expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·Portrays a positive and professional attitude.
·Speaks with others using clear and professional language.
·Assure that banquets and meeting sets follow Banquet Event Order specifications.
·Work closely with Banquet Captains and Banquet Manager.
·Respond to and make the best effort to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements.
·Properly executes all event formats (reception, buffet, seated dinner, stations, etc.)
·Prepares coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate food and beverages as stated in Banquet Event Order.
·Prepares tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert table/carts and cordial carts.
·Monitors and maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.
·Follows all company and safety and security policies and procedures; reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and completes safety training and certifications.
Bring ideas and suggestions that can help the department operate more efficiently.
·Performs additional duties as required.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
