Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipelayer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laying pipelines for various utilities, including water, gas, sanitary, and storm. This role requires proficiency in heavy equipment operation and a strong understanding of construction site safety protocols. The Pipelayer will play a critical role in ensuring that pipelines are installed correctly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Responsibilities
- Lay and install pipelines for water, gas, sanitary, storm, and other utilities according to project specifications.
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, front loader trucks, and excavators to dig trenches for pipeline installation.
- Conduct utility locating to ensure existing lines are not damaged during excavation.
- Perform concrete finishing work around pipeline installations for durability and stability.
- Maintain a clean and organized construction site, adhering to safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pipelayer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline installation techniques and utility locating procedures.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers and front loader trucks.
- Familiarity with concrete finishing processes is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
