Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring any changes are communicated to healthcare professionals.
- Perform patient observation to identify any changes in condition or behavior.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in community events.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as social work or home health is preferred.
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to implement them effectively.
- Familiarity with first aid practices and basic medical terminology is advantageous.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong observational skills to monitor client conditions accurately.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
