What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Worker and Route Delivery Driver position at Lanovara Specialty Foods?
Lanovara is both a food manufacturer and distributor. The position entails delivering and merchandising fresh bread in grocery stores. We have box trucks and bread vans that do not require a CDL. We deliver Monday through Friday with routes in Rochester, Syracuse and Buffalo NY. With this position you will be driving Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, finishing up the day with some warehouse tasks. Thursday you will be in the warehouse working on some simple tasks. Also helping in production with the bakery if needed.
The job duties will be to deliver AND STOCK fresh bread in grocery stores. You will be our customer service representative in the store! For this position, you should be able to lift, pull and push moderate weight. Kneeling is required when merchandising the breads on the store shelf. Experience working in grocery stores is a definite plus. Warehouse duties will include pulling product from our freezer, putting together pickup orders, cleaning the warehouse floor, organizing and putting away raw ingredients. Pallet jack and Forklift experience preferred.
