- Your responsibility will include various administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
- The ability to multi-task is a must.
- This is an entry-level part-time position that requires approximately 30 hours a week.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine clinical tasks as a part of the support medical staff.
- Communicate with chronic care patients via patient portal regularly.
- Escort patients to exam rooms, prepare charts, obtain accurate vital signs, EKG, and other tasks after training.
- Handle all administrative and clerical duties including Front desk work, scheduling, recalls, reminder calls, prior authorizations, and answering patient calls.
- Communicate with insurance companies to secure prior authorizations.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a medical assistant and front desk duties is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Good with EMR.
- Compassionate nature with good interpersonal skills with patients.
- A kind and professional phone demeanor.
