Job Description:
Lansing Parks and Recreation is looking for independent contractors to lead classes for our community. You bring the skills, we take care of providing the space, administration and marketing. You set the fee and split the payment 50/50 with the department.
Required Skills:
Must have an in-depth knowledge of subject they are teaching.
- Must be able to work in a team environment, while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must have strong leadership skills and be able to motivate others for success.
- Must have strong customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively with clients, co-workers, and management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that foster creativity and artistic expression among students.
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Cultivate a positive classroom environment that encourages collaboration and open communication.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills by guiding students in group projects and activities.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and achievements.
- Uphold high standards of customer service in interactions with students and their families.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $12.00 - $30.00 per hour
