Job Description:
Lansing Parks and Recreation is looking for independent contractors to lead classes for our community. You bring the skills, we take care of providing the space, administration and marketing. You set the fee and split the payment 50/50 with the department.
Required Skills:
Must have an in-depth knowledge of subject they are teaching.
- Must be able to work in a team environment, while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must have strong leadership skills and be able to motivate others for success.
- Must have strong customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively with clients, co-workers, and management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging dance curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels.
- Instruct students in various dance styles, ensuring a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively, fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
- Provide constructive feedback to students, enhancing their dance skills and confidence.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring a welcoming experience for all participants.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $12.00 - $30.00 per hour
