Salary Range: $14 To $16 Position Type: Hourly
Location: Grandview, Texas
Position Purpose:
Performs quality interface for processing and selecting orders on the shop computer, as well as meeting productivity and quality standards daily. This position will ensure the finished product is secured on the panel crate and is neatly stacked on the rack. Use of PPE equipment is mandatory. Some restocking of shop supplies and maintaining a clean work area is expected.

Essential Job Functions
Shop Functions:
- Operate roll former panel
- Ensuring the finished product is secured in the carton and is labelled properly
- Responsible for meeting standards relating to productivity and quality daily
- Measure and cutting metal sheets with accuracy
- Calculate measurements by using basic math skills
- Use the Shop Floor computer interface for processing and selecting orders
- Daily completion and submission of shop paperwork
- Restock shop supplies as needed
- Ensures the work area is consistently kept in compliance with all housekeeping and safety standards
Safety:
- Wears PPE equipment as instructed by your manager
- Performs preventive maintenance on tools and equipment and ensures equipment is in safe operating condition
- Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting and climbing; operates tools and equipment according to established safety procedures
- Corrects unsafe conditions in work area and promptly reports any conditions that are not immediately correctable to manager

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of computer applications
- Skill in performing basic mathematical calculations with accuracy
- Skill in communicating clearly with all shop workers and leadership
- Ability to catch mechanical or quality issues
- Ability to use a desk top computer
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 1 year of experience in manufacturing facility, preferably in roll forming capacity
Physical & Mental Demands, Work Hazards
Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment, including computer, shop machines, and peripherals
Posture: Prolonged standing; frequent bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
Motion: Frequent repetitive hand motions, including keyboarding and use of mouse; frequent reaching; frequent us of vision-color, peripherals, and depth perception.
Lifting: Occasional lifting and carrying (less than 50 lbs.)
Environment: Works in an office setting; may require occasional irregular and/or prolonged hours
Attendance: Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position
Mental Demands: Maintains emotional control under stress; works with frequent interruptions
