Healthcare Quality Improvement Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Supports and implements program requirements.
• Gathers, interprets, and analyzes information and data.
• Collaborates with partners and clients, such as Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
• Manages a plan to implement project work, administering the project in accordance with its stated goals and objectives.

Deliverables

• Create project deliverables, such as correspondence, reports, manuals, publications, and educational content.
• Communicate directly and lead project meetings with clients, management, and staff across teams.
• Research industry trends and incorporate them into projects when applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in health informatics, computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field.
• Twelve years or more of experience in a project setting.
• Knowledge of Quality-of-Care programs, specifically CMS Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365.
