Primary purpose :
Provides operational support and contributes to software development for an application that interfaces with hospitals' electronic health records (EHRs) to deliver data to public-health agencies. Establishes a robust technical-support structure and ensures its continued maintenance and improvement. As product matures, evolves focus from development to a balance of hands-on user support and engineering responsibilities.
A successful candidate will do the following :
- Develop and implement software solutions that enhance the operational support framework.
- Work closely with engineering and support teams to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues to our software application, including connectivity problems, data-transmission failures, and integration issues.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for internal tools and automation efforts.
- Establish best practices for operational support and knowledge sharing.
- Provide technical guidance to team members and collaborate across departments.
- Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, and resolution using tools such as ServiceNow and Atlassian Jira.
- Facilitate discussions about design choices, tradeoffs, and emerging patterns to ensure system designs align with technical and business goals.
- Design and develop complex back-end services using frameworks such as Spring Boot and .NET Core.
- Lead the design and implementation of front-end applications using frameworks like Angular and TypeScript.
- Build and optimize scalable ETL workflows and data pipelines using tools such as Informatica.
- Design and maintain data warehouses, leveraging both relational databases and NoSQL databases.
- Implement and maintain event-driven architectures, including messaging protocols such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of applications deployed on Cloud platforms, especially Azure
