Lantern Government Solutions is seeking an experienced Echo Sonographer for a full-time (40 hour per week) long-term contract opportunity at the Seattle VA Campus in Washington. About the Role:
This position plays a crucial role in the diagnosis and care of veterans by performing high-quality echocardiograms to assist in the management and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. The successful candidate will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to our veterans.
Your daily responsibilities may include:
- Perform diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures to evaluate heart function and structure.
- Operate advanced echocardiography equipment to capture high-quality images of the heart and related blood vessels.
- Record and analyze cardiac diagnostic data for physician interpretation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of examinations and observations.
- Ensure quality control of imaging equipment and report any technical issues.
- Assist with patient positioning and preparation to ensure optimal imaging results.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited program.
- Completion of a cardiac sonographer or echocardiography certificate program (RDCS or RCS).
- Proficiency in using ultrasound equipment to create 2-D and 3-D images of the heart.
