Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Lantern Hill by Erickson Senior Living. As an RN, you will promote, restore, and maintain residents' health and wellbeing by collaborating with providers, the interdisciplinary team, and care associates.
Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with residents and their families, supporting their physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
- Perform all clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice.
- Promote residents' independence by establishing care goals, teaching self-care skills, and monitoring clinical and care conditions.
- Work alongside care associates to perform routine nursing care as needed.
- Maintain infection prevention practices, administer medications, and perform treatments per orders.
- Develop and coordinate comprehensive Holistic plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months experience as an RN.
- Experience caring for seniors or those with cognitive impairment preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, internet, and web applications.
- Electronic medical record experience preferred.
- Active RN license in New Jersey required.
- CPR certification required.
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English is required.
