Server

We are looking for a Server / Cashier / Barista / Food Prep candidate to join our Lantern Vietnamese Kitchen team at the Daycreek Marketplace. Ideal candidates are professional, organized, friendly, and positive. Looking to hire candidates immediately.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be 18 or older
• Applicants should be quick learners with a positive growth mindset
• Prior server experience is preferred, but not required
• Prior barista / bobarista experience is preferred, but not required
• Prior food prep experience is preferred, but not required
• Vietnamese speaking is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:

• Promptly greet, serve, and assist multiple customers at a time while providing friendly service
• Brew fresh, daily batches of tea and coffee as well as serve specialty drinks and desserts "made to order"
• Practice safe food handling, such as preparing, cutting, and washing ingredients
• Accurately operate cash register and point of sales (POS) system
• Clean tables and stock supplies, including napkins, utensils, condiments, and food and drink ingredients
• Ensure that the work area is clean at all times
• Perform restaurant closing and opening duties

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
