Job Highlights
Manage and develop technical and engineering concepts, scope, and cost in early project phases of relevant process improvements and capacity expansions within LANXESS globally. Lead medium-sized engineering projects (250-3 Mio € project costs) and collaborate as Project Engineer in larger engineering projects. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate project viability and provide recommendations for project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective project execution, including sourcing of third-party resources. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives/projects, plant support & driving innovation and efficiency in project management processes and practices. Act as liaison between Rubicon and Lanxess. Ensure Lanxess interests regarding DPA and Aniline are addressed at Rubicon site. Work with Rubicon teams to ensure adherence to Lanxess directives.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or related engineering degree. 5 plus years of experience in process engineering in chemical industry. Proven experience in managing complex engineering projects on a global scale, preferably in Chemical Engineering. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, with attention to detail, project management skills, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and change management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional project teams.
