Job Summary
S & A Laparkan Shipping is seeking a Team member to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse and logistics environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating basic hand trucks , dollies, pallet jacks to efficiently handle shipments and materials within our distribution center. This role also includes driving box trucks or transit vans for local deliveries, ensuring shipments reach their destinations on time. The Team member will play a vital role in multi tasking ensuring smooth shipping and receiving operations while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate basic hand equipment to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Drive box trucks or transit vans for local deliveries and pickups, ensuring timely and accurate transport of shipments.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including accurate documentation, inventory management, and quality checks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with materials handling across the warehouse, ensuring goods are stored and retrieved efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and deadlines.

- Experience driving box trucks or transit vans for local deliveries is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, as well as inventory management practices, is a plus.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation, warehouse safety, and vehicle safety is desirable.
