What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Systems Coordinator position at Lapeer County Community Mental Health?
The Information Systems Coordinator assists with the administrative responsibilities for the operations and coordination of the agency’s information systems, primarily with enterprise applications software and support.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and maintain databases and datasets.
- Create dashboards and other informational tools.
- Maintains security, integrity and usability of enterprise system.
- Maintain software documentation and updates.
- Perform system administration and coordination to provide optimal efficiency and security.
- Maintain knowledge of current software programs and learn new features and programs as needed.
- Review and maintain system updates, upgrades, releases and related documentation.
- Assist in the development of information systems projects and tasks.
- Coordinate network provider training and audits.
- Coordinate and assist with annual IT risk assessments.
- Perform disaster recovery testing.
- Trains, supervises, and evaluates assigned staff in their program area(s).
- Evaluate performance and provide feedback to assigned staff.
- Assist to resolve employee issues and disputes.
Other Functions:
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of IT and data analytics related policies and procedures.
- Represents the IT team on agency and Region 10 workgroups and committees as assigned.
- Participate in training/continuing education as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned by the IT and Data Management Supervisor.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience as a systems analyst or network administrator.
- Microsoft certifications preferred
Other Requirements:
- Experience in system security
- Prior training and experience with information security and principles of Protected Health Information
- Working knowledge and ability to extract data from SQL servers for analysis.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software
- Knowledge of programming methods and procedures including testing, debugging and implementation
- Experience in the public Behavioral Health field
- Excellent judgment, innovative thinking and problem solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent writing skills.
Salary: Entry: $ 62,816.00 6 months: $67,537.60 1st Year: $72,261.26 2nd Year: $77,908.08 3rd Year: $83,574.40 4th Year: $89,606.67
