Mental Health Professional, Masters Level –Clinical Therapist Full Time- Assigned to the Intensive Recovery Services and Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) Program.
Significant Duties: Manage a caseload of adults with serious and persistent mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorder. Responsible for providing outpatient therapy services as well as case management. This position provides Intake screening, assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, individual therapy, group therapy, case management and supports coordination to support persons as they engage in community life. Work as part of an interdisciplinary team which may include providing group therapy and outreach to those involved in IDDT, Mental Health Court, or in the criminal justice system.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related mental health discipline from an accredited college or university. Full licensure from the State of Michigan preferred, but will consider experienced or highly motivated, self-starting individuals with limited license. Knowledge of local resources and a CAADC or development plan also preferred. Valid Michigan driver’s license required.
