Position Summary:
We are seeking a driven, self-motivated Roofing Sales Representative to join our team in Austin, TX. This is a field-based role ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and hunting for new opportunities—including door-to-door canvassing. You’ll be responsible for generating your own leads through prospecting and knocking doors, as well as managing company-provided leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knock doors in assigned territories to generate new roofing leads
- Qualify prospects and schedule free roof inspections
- Conduct roof inspections and document findings (training provided)
- Educate homeowners on roofing systems, insurance claims process (when applicable), and our company’s services
- Develop detailed project proposals and estimates
- Close deals and guide customers through the contract process
- Maintain relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Use CRM software to track leads, communications, and project status
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales (roofing or home improvement sales preferred)
- Willingness and ability to door knock and self-source leads
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working outdoors and on-site at customer properties
- Coachable, competitive, and highly motivated
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Familiarity with Austin-area neighborhoods is a plus
