As a Controller at LAPIS Automotive, you will play a vital role in managing our financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare accurate financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage account reconciliation processes to maintain accurate financial records.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting.
- Collaborate with management to develop budgets and forecasts that align with strategic goals.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the finance team.
- Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement or cost savings.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proven experience in corporate accounting or as a Controller in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software is essential.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate reporting.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience with account reconciliation processes and general ledger management.
- Familiarity with public accounting practices is a plus.
