Pediatric Private Duty LPN Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional care to patients in the Thibodaux area. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care and be able to work flexible schedules, including day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care as prescribed by the physician to acutely ill, and/or chronically ill patients in their homes.
- Record clinical and progress notes, and coordinate other patient care activities/services to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
- Work under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and/or designated supervisor, adhering to state laws governing the practice of nursing and agency policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous home care experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
