THE JOB: Front Desk Supervisor
The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Front Office by assisting in leading all front desk duties including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, guest phone messages and special requests
As a member of the front desk team, you will have the opportunity to provide memorable guest experiences throughout their stay, setting the tone from the first time they walk into LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort to when they checkout.
Positioned in the lobby of the resort the Front Desk is a hub for guests to receive information and ask questions about the property and the local area attractions. We are looking for an individual with a dynamic personality to take ownership of guests from all backgrounds to make them feel welcome and appreciated.
If you have the following experience, apply today:
- Experience as a Front Desk Agent working in a hospitality environment.
- Have prior supervisory experience at a hotel front desk agent or similar role.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and associates to their understanding.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Opera, SMS and Alice is a plus.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism.
