Job Summary:
The Steward supports the Food and Beverage Team, by ensuring that the dishes are washed and sanitized consistent with health guidelines and the kitchen/dining areas are maintained consistent with the standard of excellence guests come to expect from Noble House Hotels.
Essential Functions:
· Pick up room service trays from deliveries prior to end of shift
· Complete set up for evening or next day events
· Operation of the dish machine to include, scraping, soaking, stacking and racking of soiled dishes, glasses, utensils and other service wares, consistent with sanitation requirements.
· Return clean and sanitized service wares to proper areas of storage
· Keep all equipment (including racks, bus tubs and rack dollies clean, sanitized and organized).
· Clean work areas, including mopping floors, removal and disposal of trash.
· Provide support services to other Food and Beverage departments or events as needed.
· Assist staff with preparing and/or dishing up desserts, garnishing plates, preparing and delivering room service trays, etc.
· Maintain a work environment that is clean and presents a professional image.
· Attend and participate in-services as required by federal, state, and company requirements.

Requirements
Education & Experience:
· On the job training.
· Experience in the kitchen a plus
Physical Demands:
· Ability to stand for extended periods of time
· Ability to squat and bend
· Corrected vision to normal range
· Ability to work long hours as needed
· Ability to lift 25 lbs.
