We are looking for an experienced Roof Technician to join our fast-growing, innovative roof rejuvenation company.

This job is unlike ANY other roofing job you could find - you receive the following:

• HIGHER PAY - starting salary is $52,000.00 - $70,000 with guaranteed yearly raises and performance-dependent bonuses

• BRAND NEW DIESEL HD TRUCK - yeah, you heard that right! We provide all our techs with a new GMC or Chevy 3500 HD truck. The truck is for company use, but it'll stay with you at your place and can be used for personal outings with written permission.
• PERSONAL ASSISTANT - every technician gets their own exclusive personal assistant to ride along and help them accomplish their daily work goals. You don't like your assistant? We fire them and hire someone you love to have working with you.
• ALL EQUIPMENT PROVIDED FOR YOU - New cougar paws and pads, safety harness, all tools and support equipment, etc. Your job is to show up on time and do your job.....not to be a supply warehouse.

This is what we will need you to do:

• APPLY ROOF REJUVENATION OIL - The installation process is very easy - you will walk the surface area of the roof with a soft washing hose to apply the product. Your assistant will help you set up and take down equipment and make sure you are safe on the roof. That's it....you're done! For steeper roofs, we rent a boom lift for you. The average job takes an hour to complete from set-up to take-down.
• MINOR REPAIRS - Some projects will require minor repairs (i.e. replacing a few shingles, replacing a pipe jack boot, replacing bad flashings, applying caulk, etc.). Your assistant will do the running around for you to buy all the necessary materials which you will then install.
• UPKEEP THE EQUIPMENT - you will be required to bring the truck into dealerships for monthly and quarterly maintenance. You will NOT be doing any maintenance on the truck yourself, you WILL be responsible to keep the maintenance schedule up-to-date by bringing the truck into authorized GMC dealerships. You will be responsible to change tires if they pop on the trailer, grease the hubs once every 1000 miles, and maintain torque specs on wheel lugs.
• WORKING HOURS - you will be expected to work 8-10 hours per day, 5 days per week. Weekend work is rare but is occasionally requested if there are multiple rain-out days or production falls behind.
• TRAVEL - The majority of jobs will be within 1-2 hours of where you live. Drive time IS INCLUDED in your 8-10 hours of work per day. Jobs are 'batched' in similar areas, so travel between jobs is typically minimal. Approximately half the day will be spent driving. All driving to be done in company-provided truck with company-paid diesel. Extended travel will be occasionally expected, and the company will provide food and lodging allowances on any trips with overnight stays.

These are the requirements for this position:

• MINIMUM 2 YEARS ROOFING EXPERIENCE - you MUST have 2 years of full-time experience installing asphalt roofs. You will NOT be installing asphalt roofs for our company, but we NEED your skillset to competently perform minor repairs. Necessary skills include: installing underlayments, installing shingles, installing pipe jack boots, installing step flashing, installing or fixing chimney flashing
• COMFORT ON ROOFS - you need to be comfortable walking on up to 10/12 pitch roofs as well as walking on 2 story roofs. Most roofs we do are easy low-pitch, one story buildings - but you will be required to walk tall and steep roofs (with a harness, of course) when the job calls for it. For any roofs that are or too steep (over 10/12), we will rent a boom lift for you to work out of.
• DRIVERS LICENSE - Must possess a valid drivers license
• ABILITY TO COMPETENTLY DRIVE A TRUCK AND TRAILER
• WORK AUTHORIZATION - You must be authorized to work in the USA. You WILL be required to prove citizenship or work visa authorization on a Form I-9.
• LANGUAGE - you must be fluent in English. Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required.
• PROFESSIONALISM - you need to look and act professionally while on the job (that includes driving the company truck). No smoking on customer property or in the work truck (smoking breaks are allowed away from customer property and outside of the work truck). You will be expected to be dressed in company-branded shirts (provided). You will be expected to be kind and professional with your words and actions towards our clients. You will be expected to be sober when you begin work for the day. Unlawful drugs of any kind are strictly prohibited, and any employee caught working while under the influence of either alcohol or any unlawful substance will be immediately and irrevocable fired.
