Summary : Under the general direction of the Maintenance Manager, this position oversees the mechanical / electrical maintenance of the equipment, machinery, and tooling required to produce the finished product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for troubleshooting and updating PLC programs
- Monitors machinery performance regularly along with maintaining spare parts inventories on identified critical equipment parts.
- Troubleshoot and repair of manufacturing equipment
- Equipment Maintenance : Conduct routine inspections, measuring and analyzing equipment performance, identifying faults and taking appropriate corrective measures.
- Build and design tooling fixtures to increase efficiency and consistency in manufacturing.
- Support established Preventative Maintenance system of equipment and make required adjustments
- Must have a flexible time schedule to perform preventative maintenance with minimum impact to production and willing to share on-call status among other production personnel.
- Work under minimum of technical supervision. Self-driven.
- Prepare technical reports for documenting issues / changes to equipment
- Maintain repair records for all activities
- Safety and Compliance : Adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and best practices during maintenance operations.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, performance and efficiency.
- Training and knowledge transfer : Stay updated in technological advancements, industry trends, and best practices related to maintenance engineering. Provide guidance and training to other maintenance staff, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance overall competence of the team.
- Assist with environmental regulations inquiries and customer documentation

Compensation : After thorough market analysis, LAPP takes many factors into consideration when determining base salary such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, etc. of the candidate. The base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $95,000 plus participation in LAPP's bonus plan.
