We are looking for a District Sales Manager to join our team under the general direction of the Regional Sales Director. This role will be responsible for revenue growth, promoting sales of products and services to end-user customers within an assigned account base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application expertise and product design for new and existing customers
- Creating and delivering sales proposals to grow share
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships with numerous stakeholders
- Developing new prospects as assigned
- Identifying competitive pricing and creating a compelling value proposition to maximize gross margin profit
- Leading customer meetings and collaborating in a team-based environment to accomplish organizational objectives
- Leveraging manufacturing partners to create full wire and cable product offerings for customers
This is an inside sales position requiring up to 20% travel, including domestic and international trips. A valid driver's license and passport are expected to be maintained.
Requirements:
- Strong technical skills with the ability to understand technical concepts and coordinate hands-on product demonstrations
- Self-motivated and organized individual driven for success
- Proven success in market research, cold calling, lead qualification, and closing business
- Outstanding relationship building and team player skills
- High level of integrity and proficient computer skills
- Cross-functional experience leveraging sourcing, finance, operations, and marketing to compel customers to choose LAPP Tannehill
- Ability to reach and grow with customers with minimal travel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business from an accredited college or university
- 3 years of experience in distribution or manufacturing sales
- Strong knowledge of industrial consumable business
Compensation:
Base salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 plus participation in LAPP's bonus plan. Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Vision, Dental, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, 401(k), HSA/FSA, Life Insurance, and more.
