Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a QEHS Manager at LAPP Tannehill. The QEHS Manager will be responsible for overseeing quality, environmental, health, and safety initiatives within the company. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing QEHS policies, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving continuous improvement in QEHS performance.
Quality Management System:
• Investigate quality issues and nonconformities, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to prevent recurrence.
• Manage supplier complaints and issue Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR)
• Performs Internal Audit and Maintains the Internal Audit Schedule.
• Manage the Calibration Program.
• Maintains Customer Print Database
• Maintains Department and Company Quality KPI's
• Maintains Corporate Directive database
• Performs First Article Inspections (FAI) and creates Part Submission Warrants (PSW) based on customer PPAP requests.
• Inspects incoming, outgoing and in process material when needed including Documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, compliance documentation and safety incidents. Generate QEHS reports for management and regulatory agencies when required.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on quality control procedures. Ensure that the workforce is knowledgeable about quality standards.
• Complete Customer Quality Surveys and Questionnaire.
• Develop and maintain work instructions and training documents
Safety Management System:
• Investigate workplace accidents, near misses, or incidents to determine the root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor the safe storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials and waste in compliance with regulations.
• Maintains Department and Company Safety KPI's
• Provide training and guidance to employees on Safety procedures. Ensure that the workforce is knowledgeable about safety standards.
Environmental Management System:
• Oversee the environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
• Maintains the EMS (Environmental Management System) compliance with the ISO 14001:2015
• Participate in the preparation of the aspect/ impact register.
• Maintains hazardous waste disposal manifests.
• Maintains Department and Company Environmental KPI's
• Provide training and guidance to employees on Environmental procedures. Ensure that the workforce is knowledgeable about environmental standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• 5 year’s quality management system maintenance; understanding of the quality system requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015
• Internal quality system auditing experience
• Experience with corrective & preventative actions
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Experience in ISO 45001:2015 is a plus
Hybrid - in office three day per week
