LaQuinta Inn & Suites is looking for a Housekeeping Room Attendant who has the highest level of cleanliness standards.
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all guestrooms. He or she must work to promote safety in all guest areas by following strict procedures with respect to passkeys, entry to guestrooms, and reporting any suspicious activity. Room Attendants must demonstrate a commitment to maintaining high quality standards and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize various areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Perform residential cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and well-presented.
- Carry out custodial duties including floor care and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs and requests promptly.
- Assist with cooking or meal preparation when required.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues to management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning roles such as residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or custodial services is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean and sanitize effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is a plus.
