Responsibilities
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of hotel facilities, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on various systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter to troubleshoot electrical issues and maintain logic controllers.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all maintenance areas, including storage for tools and supplies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Execute residential painting tasks as needed to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the hotel.
- Interpret schematics for various systems to assist in troubleshooting and repairs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication with guests and team members.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including the use of an Ohmmeter for diagnostics.
- Previous experience in customer service roles is highly valued.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically when faced with challenges.
