Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Expo/Food Runner to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Expo/Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and complete before serving to guests.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including the kitchen and dining spaces.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to food safety standards and practices throughout all stages of food handling.
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and safety protocols is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in banquet service or restaurant settings is a plus, particularly for those interested in advancing their careers within the culinary field.
