What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events Grounds Crew position at Laramie County Government?
Under the supervision of the Grounds and Operations Manager this position will be responsible for providing maintenance and custodial support for the Laramie County Fair. This position is seasonal.

- Assists in mobilizing equipment and materials around the Fair Grounds
- Set up and clean before and after the Fair
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms
- Clean buildings and floors by scrubbing, sweeping, moping or vacuuming
- Clean windows and mirrors
- Remove any debris and empty all trash and garbage containers
- Set up, arrange and remove tables, chairs, stage and any decorations or props to prepare facilities for upcoming events
- May be required to operate a variety of job related vehicles and equipment
- Cleans and maintains tools, equipment, materials and work sites
- Performs other job related duties as assigned or required
The candidate should be hardworking, energetic, a self-starting individual with a fast learning curve and have the ability to work as a team member that will be supporting Wyoming's Oldest and Largest County Fair. Successful applicants must be able to stand and tolerate being outdoors for long periods of time and lift heavy objects. Candidates must have reliable transportation and able to attend orientation. May be required to pass a background check and drug screen.

- Must be able to work the for the duration of the fair and preferably the week after.
