Position Summary
PODER Secondary is a small-school environment where teachers track individual students and tailor instruction accordingly. There is a heavy focus on classroom management where behavior disruptions are minimized. Seeking creative minds who enjoy teaching.
Qualifications
BA or BS degree in secondary education
Able to pass a background check
Experience working with 7th-12th grade and/or experience working with diverse students is a plus (not required)
Multiple Certifications/Endorsements is a plus (not required)
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus (not required)
Responsibilities:
Develop lesson plans and deliver instruction
Provide small group and individual instruction
Provide weekly lesson plans to the Principal
Collaborate with team members to develop innovative instruction techniques
