These positions will provide one-on-one support to our clients in social, recreational, as well as daily living skills in community and outdoor education settings. Qualified individuals will be responsible for direct supervision, supportive counseling, and social skill building. Community Support Staff will provide transportation to and from community activities, mental health appointments, and when necessary, school. Positions will include afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.

Requirements:
Valid driver’s license, excellent driving record, and access to a safe, reliable, insured vehicle is required. This position also requires candidates to be at least 21 years of age. If selected, candidates must also successfully complete required background checks.
Physical Requirements:
- Given the at-risk population served, the position requires ongoing training and preparedness in the execution of physical restraint techniques. This may require running to catch a child. The “Handle with Care” training program used articulates that individuals with back and neck limitations are likely to be hampered in the execution of the protocols and greatly increases risk of harm to self or student.
- Ability to engage youth in a variety of activities ranging from art, music, cooking and physical activities such hiking and other outdoor sports.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
