What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certificated Occupational Therapy Assistant position at Larchmont Charter School?
The primary purpose of the Occupational Therapy Assistant position is to work with children and adolescents in a charter school setting to support their development of skills related to daily living, academic achievement, and social participation. OT assistants work under the supervision of an occupational therapist and may be responsible for implementing treatment plans and goals, as well as providing support and guidance to students in areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-regulation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
(*) Bachelor’s Degree preferred
(*) 2 years experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant working with TK-8 grade students
(*) Maintain current CA Board License or CTC Rehabilitation Certificate and additional requirements related to license renewal such as completing Continuing Education courses.
(*) TB Test clearance & DOJ fingerprinting clearance
(*) Possess and maintain valid CPR/ First Aid/ AED for child and adult certification
(*) Valid driver’s license
(*) Ability to travel to school sites.
Salary : $32 - $45
