LARDON is looking to add a FULL TIME Server to our staff.
Lardon (Michelin Bib Gourmand 2022 - 2024) from Meadowlark Hospitality, highlights cured meats, artisanal cheeses, sandwiches and coffee in an old world style café environment. Rooted in the Logan Square neighborhood, Lardon is looking for dedicated and driven team members that enjoy fostering a team environment and communicating our passion for artisanal food and drinks. Our cured meat and whole animal butchery program has become respected across the city, focusing on all salumi made in house in our one-of-a-kind curing room. Eclectic worldly wines, apertivo cocktails, amari, and local beers are hand selected to be paired with our one of a kind menu.

-We are looking to hire for our WEEKEND lunch service as well as our WEEDEKND PM dinner service. 3-4 SHIFTS PER WEEK PREFERRED. Strong preference for open availability.
THE IDEAL SERVER: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Candidates must have relevant experience within the hospitality industry. A strong knowledge base and passion for artisanal foods, cured meats and cheeses, wine and cocktails is paramount.
- Must demonstrate superior beverage knowledge, including styles, industry trends, and various other aspects of the beverage industry, specifically WINE.
- Servers must be able to easily cultivate a memorable guest experience with a superior translation of our passion for food and beverage.
- Work as a team with all of the Meadowlark Hospitality staff in order to foster a healthy work environment as well as a successful service.
- You can multitask and feel comfortable wearing multiple hats as you guide guests through their time with us, managing the pace and sequence of service, creating an overall exceptional guest experience.
- You feel comfortable being cross trained to ensure you understand and respect every process of executing a great service.
- People ask for you by name because they loved having you as their server last time.
- Bartending and cocktail experience preferred but not required.
- Servsafe and basset/TIPS certified.
- Barista/bartending/food running experience appreciated but not required.
- Comfort in using TOAST system or coordinating POS system.
- Experience in high volume/fast pace is a plus.
- Open availability is a plus.
