Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Insurance Agency
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Representative with expertise in Transportation Insurance to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our clients, managing policies, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transportation Insurance Support: Work closely with Managing General Agents (MGA) and insurance carriers to process endorsements and ensure all units and drivers are properly added to policies.
- Client Communication: Answer customer calls and emails, addressing inquiries related to existing policies, coverage options, billing questions, and claims processes.
- Policy Management: Assist clients with policy changes, including adding or removing coverage, updating personal information, and processing renewals to ensure timely and accurate adjustments.
- Sales Support: Support the sales process by providing information on available insurance products, quoting premiums, and helping clients understand their options.
- Claims Handling: Initiate the claims process by collecting necessary information from clients, tracking claims status, and providing regular updates to customers.
- Customer Service Excellence: Resolve customer complaints, address concerns in a timely manner, and build strong, lasting relationships with clients.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to state licensing requirements, insurance industry standards, and internal company procedures to ensure compliance at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Insurance License: Depending on state and insurance line (e.g., auto, home, life), candidates must possess a valid insurance license as required.
- Strong Customer Service Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, actively listen, and resolve inquiries with patience and care.
- Insurance Knowledge: Solid understanding of various insurance products, policy terms, coverage options, and the insurance industry as a whole.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfort with insurance agency management systems and various computer applications to streamline processes and maintain accuracy.
