Registered Nurse (RN)

Laredo Digestive Health Center (LDHC) a GI Ambulatory Surgical Center in Laredo, TX has an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team!

This position will work Monday and Tuesday from 7:00AM - 7:00PM.

What you will be working on:

• Admitting patients to the Center
• Assisting Physicians during procedures
• Following patients in recovery to discharge
• Overseeing patient and staff flow
• Ensuring policies and procedures are followed
• Additional duties include maintaining the emergency cart, ordering, and inventorying medication, giving pre-procedure instruction, and participating in Quality Management projects.

What you’ll know:

• A successful applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• GI experience preferred, preferably in an ASC or GI Suite, but not required
• Current Texas (TX) RN license
• Knowledge of EMR and medical terminology.
• Previous critical care or PACU experience preferred
• BLS Certification/ACLS Certification preferred
• Must be a team-player with excellent multi-tasking and interpersonal skills
• Compassion for patient needs and a high degree of professionalism
