CT Technologist Role:
As a CT technologist at Laredo Medical Center, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Your responsibilities will include performing diagnostic CT scans, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic CT scans, including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and licensed by the state as a general radiographer.
- 2 years' experience in CT scanning.
- Knowledge of processing of CT systems, surgical/sterile procedure, studies with or without contrast media and cross-sectional anatomy.
