Job Summary:
This role oversees all aspects of chemical operations for multiple areas, ensuring competency in meeting stated goals and objectives. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, maintain strong ethics, and work effectively with minimum supervision.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage all chemical operations, performing typical responsibilities of management such as planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and coaching.
- Develop and maintain excellent team working relationships with production engineers, production foremen, field employees, and vendors.
- Mentor and develop chemical technicians, providing ongoing training and support to promote employee development.
- Ensure safe and efficient execution by coordinating closely with the EH&S department, leading safety audits, and promoting a culture of innovation.
- Oversee project controls, schedules, and budgets, utilizing standard budgeting and forecasting practices through technology.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure regulatory compliance, provide field spot check quality control of chemicals, and participate in root cause failure analysis meetings.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years oilfield experience, including 5 years of supervisory experience as a foreman, assistant foreman, or equivalent
- Detailed knowledge and expertise in chemical operations
- Effective project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of economic evaluations and indicators, SCADA technology, and safety regulations
