Quality Control Inspector

We are seeking a full-time Quality Control Inspector to join our team. We are a leading worldwide supplier of custom-engineered air movement equipment that services the mining, industrial, transit, and utility industries. With our approximately 500 employees worldwide we have offered customer-oriented, innovative products and services for many years. The main responsibility of this position will be to accurately inspect precision-machined and welded parts to company standards and drawings.

Quality Control Inspector – Main Areas of Responsibility:

• Inspect parts using various precision inspection tools and equipment, as well as visual inspection, to conform with company drawings and standards
• Write inspection reports with the project team and resolve quality issues
• Maintain calibration records of all tooling
• Implement and improve quality control operating procedures when needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Quality Control Inspector – Qualification Requirements:

• Previous work experience inspecting precision custom-made parts
• Ability to read and interpret machining and fabrication drawings a must
• Understand U.S./Imperial and Metric/ISO tolerancing and GDT systems
• Strong attention to detail
• ISO 9001 experience
• AWS CWI and NDT/NDE certifications a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willing to travel to and vendor shops when needed
• Ability to stand most of the day and lift up to 50 lbs

Experience: 5 Years Quality Control (Preferred)
