What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Entry / Assistant Bookkeeper position at Large Home Builder?
Local Home Builder is seeking an Assistant Bookkeeper & Data Entry Clerk for our Corpus Christi office. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for the following daily operations.
- Assist Office Manager with various task, including but not limited starts packets, permit submittals, AEP applications, purchasing, etc.
- Data Entry- Experience using QuickBooks & Excel is a MUST
- Inventory- Issuing from warehouse, Tracking & Recording using Excel & QuickBooks
- Purchasing of materials for all ongoing projects and ensuring requests for materials are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicating with vendors, subcontractors, and municipal personnel on a daily basis to make sure projects are progressing through all stages
- To qualify for this position, the right candidate must possess the following skills and abilities:
- Proficient in QuickBooks software - A MUST
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Work at a fast pace & pay attention to detail
- Be able to multi-task
- Create & use spreadsheets on excel
- 10 key by touch
- File correctly
- Be a team player
- Follow instructions and take notes
