Construction Manager

Landmark Realty LLC is now hiring an experienced, highly functioning, Construction/Project Manager to join our team in Kansas City, MO. This is a full-time, salaried position with a full benefits package offered.

This role will be responsible for overseeing/monitoring the activities of Construction projects and contractors to ensure new construction, repair, and system/facility maintenance activities are completed in accordance with our established standards.

Job Responsibilities:

-Plan, organize, direct, control, or coordinate, usually through supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems

-Oversees projects as a whole, from the bidding process through completion while serving as a liaison with the client and on-site personnel

-Assist pre-construction with estimates and detailed project plans

-Participate in development and delivery of project proposals

-Participate in and/or drive scope comparisons, vendor selections, and contract administration

-Oversee project construction to monitor compliance with contract, building codes, and safety regulations

-Perform project reviews to ensure that projects are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards

-Provide status reports regarding project milestones, budget, deliverables, deficiencies, risks and issues

Qualifications:

-Solid background in new build construction, repair construction monitoring and Construction Science Management. A minimum of 5 years multi-family construction management.

-Ability to create and work with contracts, RFI's, change orders, plans and specification

-Strong working knowledge regarding construction methods, materials and regulations

-Familiarity with construction management software for job costing, scheduling and estimating

-10 years of verifiable experience as a Project Manager may be substituted for a degree or a combination of education and verifiable experience

-Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and excellent presentation skills are required

-Proven ability to develop lasting, positive customer relationships

-Must be able to interact effectively and diplomatically with diverse people, both on an individual basis as well as within group situations

-Experience managing maintenance and construction teams is required.

-Valid Drivers License required
